Live Your Terms – Why I’m Venturing Into the Great Unknown

How it Started

4 months ago, I was laid off for the first time in my life.

Our whole office was shut down. I was shocked, but I knew this was going to give me the time and space I wanted—the time and space I needed.

So What’s Next?

After being heavily inspired by Art’s 12 projects in 12 months and by Paul Millerd’s book The Pathless Path, I decided to dedicate this year to exploration and experimentation. I aim to also do 12 projects in 12 months.

It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, but it never seemed like the right time. However, with no job, no kids, and enough savings to take a year off from work, this is the perfect time.

I’m not sure what projects I’ll be doing or where this will lead me. It may lead nowhere. I’m trying to tell myself that’s okay too.

Live Your Terms

If you could do anything, what would you do?

How would you live life on your terms?

When I ask myself these questions, I don’t know how to answer them.

The more I reflect, the more I question if I’ve been living life on my terms or not. I’m not even sure what my terms are.

This is what I plan to explore and document here.

I hope you’ll live your terms, too.
